Dr. Albert Hodge

CSL Program Manager

Dr. Albert Hodge is the Program Manager for the Center For Strategic Leadership and Organizational Coherence. He has worked in the field of education for over 36 years as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, school board member, performing arts school director, business owner, and college professor. He earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Educational Specialist’s degrees from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, where he currently teaches, and his Educational Doctorate from the University of Michigan – Dearborn, with the primary focus on educational leadership. He has earned three administrator certificates from the Michigan Department of Education, a certificate from Harvard University for Educational Redesign which focused on wrap-around school services, and has spoken at state and national conferences in Michigan, Louisiana, and California on both equity in educational leadership, superintendent leadership experiences, and reading instruction and support. Dr. Hodge is also a musician, and has enjoyed writing music and musicals for his students focusing on reading, cross-curricular achievement, positive behaviors, and school climate issues. He has been married for 42 years to his college sweetheart, and has six children.
